These terms govern use of the Scan & Parse web application (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The service
The App lets you capture receipt images, use automated parsing to suggest structured data, edit that data, and optionally store it and sync to Google services you authorize. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for complying with laws that apply to you.
- You must not misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users’ data, or upload unlawful content.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any API keys or credentials used with your deployment.
Third-party services
The App may rely on Google, Cloudflare, and other providers you enable. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
AI and automated parsing
Parsed receipt fields are suggestions and may be incorrect. You should review amounts and details before relying on them for taxes, reimbursement, or legal purposes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of your deployment are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.
Changes
We may modify these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
