Receipt capture, AI-assisted parsing, review, and optional sync to your Google Sheet.
What this app does
Scan & Parse is a web application for people who want a digital record of paper receipts (for example travel or business expenses). You use your phone or desktop browser to:
- Capture — Take or upload a photo of a receipt.
- Parse — Optional machine-learning vision suggests merchant name, date, currency, line items, and totals (you should always review for accuracy).
- Review & edit — Change any field before saving.
- Save — Approved data can be stored in a database under your account; receipt images can be stored in object storage.
- Optional Google Sheet — If you connect Google Drive/Sheets, the app can create a spreadsheet in your Google Drive and append one row per saved receipt.
- Duplicate awareness — The app can warn when the same receipt image was saved before (by image fingerprint).
Why we request Google user data (transparency)
We only use Google permissions for the purposes below. We do not sell your personal information.
- Sign in with Google (OpenID, email, profile) — To prove who you are, show your email in the app, and keep your saved receipts and files scoped to your Google account id. We issue an encrypted session cookie; we do not receive your Google password.

Google Drive (limited:
drive.file) — Only to create and update files this application creates in your Drive (for example your receipt spreadsheet). We do not request broad access to your entire Drive. - Google Sheets — To read and write the spreadsheet we created so your approved receipt rows and links appear where you expect.

No login is required to read this page. The interactive app loads below; signing in is only needed to use capture, parse, and save features. The footer on every screen also links to the privacy policy.
